I've let the knowledge base go since February and haven't done much work on it. I've decuded to pick it back up again. I'm also picking up the programming..trying to do at least a little each day.

With the family history, I've run into an obstacle. What appears on Ancestry for the Williamson family doesn't quite match what shows up in the Dutch Reformed Church records for Schagticoke, except for the last few children, so I'm not certain of the facts there. There are also perhaps two other Williamson families in the area. The match between pre-1790 records and later ones is also inexact, and I'm finding birth, but not marriage records, which makes things difficult.

I'm also planning on trying NaNoWriMo again this year, and if I'm going to finish, I need to do more pre-planning.

I've spent much of the past few months climbing up and down my family tree and found quite a few things I hadn't expected to. I'm going to start a little bit further back than my last entry, at the family of James Oregon Williamson and Mary Barber. This family lived in Rensselaer and Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County, New York in the 1760s.
